Since its humble beginning to its modest existence, Universal Motors began in 1981. It's founder Nevin Taylor was fascinated and enthralled with cars as all young men are. His vision of the ultimate sports car was encouraged by kit and special construction vehicles like the Sterling Roadster and replica type vehicles which reached their height of popularity in the early 80s.
The driving force and the behind Universal's creations are evident in the futuristic vision which have given birth to their designs. Being raised by a structural engineer allowed our founder to realize that he could put his ideas into reality. This coupled with his interest in computer technology has integrated his experience, ideas and his Electronic Engineering background to come up with our first prototype vehicle the "VELOCITY"
This Personal Transportation Device (PTV) will soon be in full production. The VELOCITY comprises the best of both worlds of fulfilling today's transportation requirements in a cost effective and ecologically responsible manner. It is the first production two seater gas and water powered vehicle to serve as a daily commuter with an impressive 40-174mpg. Universal Motor Corporation's HHO hydrogen engine has extended the range to the aforementioned 174MPG with a with a top speed of over 125mph.
This cost effective transportation is not only inexpensive to purchase, but also highly reliable, safe, and easy to drive and maintain. Plus, it qualifies as a carpool vehicle (allowing to travel in carpool lanes with only one person), and due to the fact that it is registered as a motorcycle, it is give special consideration when traversing on ferries (lower rates and front of line privileges). Thereby, it becomes self evident that this vehicle is the obvious choice for today's professional.
Many of its amenities include hydraulic catacomb cockpit passenger compartment, 7+ cubic feet of luggage compartment, inverter and charging systems which support 12volt and d110 volt electronic appliances not to mention it's computerized interface which includes: directional databases, maintenance records, internet access through cellular interface and automated access controls. So as you can see, this futuristic vehicle of Sci-Fi is here today.

ACHIEVEMENTS
Our collaborative efforts toward technological innovation and integration has been recognized in the private sector, military environment, and by various governmental agencies. Some of our mentionable noteworthy projects include:
- The MERIDIAN - a private fully automated luxury yacht. This 52 foot exquisite ship received front page recognition for it's state of the art interface of all critical systems enabling it to be sailed by one instead of its original crew of seven.
- CEEED- a fully automated Sterling Roadster sports car with directional, proximity, and a fully functional CTA interface.
- VELOCITY - PTV - a personal transportation vehicle which is a fuel efficient, highly reliable and a cost effective alternative to traditional automotive transportation.
